Exploring Cafes and Brunch Places
Exploring cafes and brunch spots around LA is one of my favorite hobbies, especially when I come across a place with a unique aesthetic. I love walking into a beautifully designed café, whether it is filled with cozy, vintage charm or sleek, modern decor. The experience of trying new drinks and pastries, especially a well-made matcha latte, makes each visit exciting. When I find a spot that really stands out, I immediately want to share it with the people I love, imagining the perfect day spent there with my friends or family.
There is something special about going to a new café with friends or my partner, settling into a cozy corner, and getting lost in conversation over good food and drinks. Those moments—where we are fully present, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company—are some of my favorite things in the world. Whether it's a spontaneous stop at a hidden gem or a planned outing to a trendy brunch spot, each visit becomes a memory tied to both the space and the people I share it with.
Music
Music is an experience I fully immerse myself in, never just background noise but something I devote my full attention to. I love dissecting the layers of a song—how the melodies, harmonies, and rhythms interact to create emotion. Whether it's a beautifully orchestrated composition or a stripped-down acoustic piece, I appreciate the nuances that make each song unique. Listening is an active process for me, a way to connect deeply with the artistry behind the music and feel every note with intention.
As a musician, I play piano, percussion instruments, and guitar, which gives me a diverse approach to music. I also write songs and am learning music production, expanding my ability to bring ideas to life. There is something special about taking an emotion or story and transforming it into a melody, chord progression, or beat. Songwriting allows me to explore my thoughts and experiences in a way that feels both personal and universal, while production helps me shape my sound into something tangible.
The artistic process is filled with ups and downs—some days, inspiration flows effortlessly, while other times, frustration sets in when things do not come together as I envisioned. But despite the challenges, creating music is incredibly rewarding. It is my way of expressing myself, processing emotions, and making sense of the world around me. Every song I write, every piece I play, and every track I produce is a reflection of who I am in that moment, and that makes the journey worthwhile.
